The International Rules of BBQ
Day 211
First barbecue of the year.
While barbecuing, Papa Mac and I were careful to observe The International Rules of BBQ. The Rules were first introduced to Australia in 1845 (about quarter to seven), were then recognised by the League of Nations in 1946 and ratified by the United Nations Security Council in 1978 (these bacame the subject of an International Standards Orginisation Technical Committee TC178 argument when The Netherlands objected to the use of hydrocarbon assistance during the ignition phase).
The rules in the main body of the text outline that any person partaking in the cooking of raw meat over open coals, must at all times have an alcoholic beverage in their hand.
