going nowhere

That's it. I've been off the bike for far too long now. It's been a month since my last ride.
The excuses I've given myself now sound feeble as I go over them in my head...
...dodgy knee, christmas, the thought of spending more time cleaning than riding, no lights to ride at night, my 3.5" super-tacky mud tyres aren't built for road use and I can't afford slicks...blah blah blah.

Enough! Off come the gloves. I need to make a concerted effort to get back on the trusty steed.

But, er, it is Juniors birthday this weekend and, erm, he'll need taxi-ing about and er, I've been meaning to chop the load of logs in the garage and erm the bike still needs a proper clean and er, I think there's a film I wanted to see on...

Oh, who am I kidding, I'm rubbish.
