Wakefield Kirkgate

I've been in Sheffield today for a meeting and as we missed the fast train home by 16 seconds (the doors started to close as we were touching distance from the train), we came back via the slightly slower train that stops at Meadowhall (or 'Medderall' to give it its proper pronunciation) and Wakefield Kirkgate.

Unlike Westgate which is on the fast London line, Kirkgate is a grimtastic dump of a station. I made both by colleagues laugh and startled other passengers as I grabbed my phone and said 'Ooh! Grim!' and started taking photos before the train moved off. Unfortunately our carriage stopped in line with the least grim bit, but these youths obliged by walking past to add a bit of interest.
