Weaving Copper Yarn

Today we experimented in combining different materials and techniques. I made several samples including this one where I used a big type of rough wool yarn to conceal the warp yarn made of copper wire.

I experimented with the properties of copper wire. Here you can see how it can also change the shaping qualities of a piece of fabric woven with these materials.
