Beehive of activity

Another two day meeting in Wellington. Earlyish flight down, and evening run after the end of Day 1.

This is the seat of Government in New Zealand. The more modern (not that modern now) building houses the executive; Prime Minister and other members of cabinet. The grey stone building (which is not really on such a slope, which is a consequence of wide angle used) is the old Parliamentary Building. Other MPs and the debating chamber are in this building, which extends twice as far again along to the right.

The budget is due soon. Some will be hoping Mr English has produced some honey.
