Sammamish river trails

Redmond is mossy. Everything is green, sometimes overly so. Even the smells. Heavy clouds, armies of them, march across the sky without pause. When the sun did peep out in the evening, its rays turned into a spotlight. The edges of heavy grey clouds were the colour of rust and the tops of bare trees seemed to catch fire. Then it began drizzling again.

There is a strong network of biking trails just around the corner. Redmond claims to be the bicycling capital of the Northwest(US) and there are as many riders using it for conveyance as for fitness and recreation.
