At long last, enough trackbed is down to lay a bit of track. So far, nothing has run but the civil engineers (navvies) are most encouraged.
Busy day today; MaggieD was away with friends for a tea break so someone (me) got on with the domestic stuff. This afternoon, Euan had a doctors appointment (inoculations) so there was a little window of opportunity and this is the result.
This evening, M & I took E +R + I for a long walk to give Ali some peace to make tea for herself and Phil. Sunny to begin with but we got a little damp at one point and sought sanctuary in a bus shelter for a few minutes. Thank goodness no buses came along!
