Poor Ellie

Ellie is our youngest dog - a Bedlington Whippet lurcher. I was walking her this afternoon over Broadwater Forest near Tunbridge Wells when we met two women walking their dogs. One of them (a dog, not a woman)chased her in a friendly and enthusiastic fashion, and that was it. She ran, and I didn't see her again for half an hour. She made her way back to the car. She was shaken by her ordeal, and I took this photo several hours later, when she was still looking very sorry for herself.
