Fishguard Herring

A walk from Dinas Head to Fishguard today. No big deal you might think. Just under 6 miles but a bit tougher with Son #2 on your shoulders all the way. Son #1 was a superstar and didn't moan at all about his exertions.

A rainy morning which turned in to a stunning blue sky day with big white, fluffy, cumulus clouds scudding across the sky.

Took a photo which I thought was the one. Oh no, it appears so that will be relegated to blipfolio.

Here's the herring for which Fishguard was once famous, taken by the harbour which is known for being the location for the filming Under Milk Wood.

Nice bottle of Tomos Watkins Ale in town and then back to the cottage.
