Monkey see, monkey do.

I'm not saying my boys a monkey. He's not, not yet anyway. He's learning, he's copying and picking stuff up from his sister. This is normal behaviour for a boy his age. He'll do things usually with limited knowledge of the consequences - that's how he learns.

When my brother was younger he picked up a worm in the garden and ate it - he learned that worms don't taste very nice. He also picked up an irrational fear of worms!

My brother's now 37 and he still hasn't learned to trust worms. He can't even look at them without going all white.
