Checkers

Checkers is a favorite pastime here in Thailand. Not so much among the university students, but I see the motorcycle taxi drivers playing almost everyday. They usually play on a piece of fabric or a cardboard box with squares drawn on it. It's also common to see older people playing in the parks on tables like this. Almost everyone uses bottle caps. It's nice to see the resourcefulness of the different boards and pieces people use to play.
