New Art Form

My artistic, Japan loving son was in heaven this past weekend. On our way out of town to visit his big brother at university we stopped off at the Japanese festival. Two hours of bliss. He ate squid, found some fun items to add to his Asian collection and learned about a new Japanese art form that is basically painting with paper. The Japanese name is Chigirie(pronounced Chee Gee Ree Ay). Although the artist lives about an hour and a half from us, she agreed to give my son some lessons. Jonah was so thrilled, two of his loves all in one package.
