Sakura

For over a thousand years, the practice of picnicking under a cherry tree in blossom has been enjoyed in Japan. I suspect "Hanami" might not be as high on the agenda for the average Japanese as it has in previous years. I'd like to think the earthquake and tsunami haven't spoiled the whole party.

A busy and full day today, starting with a couple of hours work, followed by a late breakfast out, a riverside walk, gardening in the afternoon, rounded off by a barbecue in the evening.

I'm pretty sure there'll be no rest to be found at work tomorrow either.
