Clouds

What an amazing day!!! I don't recall ever having such stunning weather in The Lakes. Barely a cloud in the sky and very warm. C and I are a little pink this evening...oops!

We had a most excellent tromp up to and along High Street, starting and finishing at Brotherswater. Whilst we met various small groups of walkers during the day, for much of it we were left alone to enjoy the stunning scenery.

An incredible weekend. We are lucky to have this beautiful place so close to home.

The photo for today's blip was taken on the climb up to High Street. The clouds just looked like they were funneling around an invisible bend in the sky. Very unusual (in more ways than one for The Lakes) and one of the best pics from today.
