St Martin's Bell Tower, Basildon Essex

This free standing Bell Tower stands some 90 feet and was opened by the Queen in 1999 to mark the pending new millennium.
There are 8 bells in total housed in the Tower with the tenor bell being cast in 1441 by the first woman, Joanne Hille, ever in the world to cast a bell.
