Romania Day 8- Brasov
Well, weather was pretty bad today, so with the telecabina still out of action due to the wind, we headed of to Brasov. Brasov is the 2nd biggest city in Romania, after Bucharest, and is the most popular destination for tourists, which is the main reason why we didn't go there originally. But I wanted to get some more Snowboarding in before we head back to Bucharest tomorrow, and I now see why its so popular. The Snow and the Pistes were brilliant, although visibility was a nightmare. It didn't stop snowing all day, and the wind was pretty strong, which meant for a rather bumpy day. You just couldn't see anything. I couldn't see any lines but it cleared up a bit once you got below 1200m, with the piste being protected by the trees. It was great experience for me though, and I did have a great day. I am aching all over though, and it's bath time again, and almost time to watch a bit of Champions League. Cannae beat it!!!!!!!
