Alternative title: Les Mallards Imaginaires?

One of the disadvantages of living next to the Kennet and Avon canal is that mallard march to and fro and generally get frisky along the ridge tiles of my house. Sounds very noisy when I'm working in my studio/home office/3rd bedroom.
