Sunny day

It's been a beautiful day today. We went to Stratford-Upon-Avon this afternoon for a meal and ice cream! My boyfriend and I have now been together for officially one year so we thought we'd make sure we had a nice day.

It was very tempting to hire a rowing boat and go along the river like so many others did but that's being saved for another day now. Instead we just went on the little ferry that crosses the river. You can walk around and over the bridge but, as their sign said, the journey is "shorter by water"!

Spent a lot of time people watching today. Parents pretending to throw their children into the river, people playing with a ball too close to the river and then needing people in the boats to rescue their ball, a ufo?? (see Simon's account today!).... The sun really does make a difference to everyone's mood, it's lovely to see everyone out and enjoying spending time with their friends and loved ones.

I blimmin' love these type of days :)
