Road Trip...

......up early but some errands to attend to before setting off for Sutherland. Last stop was a trip to the angling shop for some flies and other bits and bobs to complete my field sports kit. Shooting (clay pigeons not fluffy animals) and fishing activities are firmly on the agenda for next week.

Stopped for late afternoon flask and sandwiches at Loch Assynt.....stunning spot on a lovely day.

It was good to get to Drumbeg after a 7 hour drive and sink a pint of Everards real ale at the Drumbeg Hotel.
