Willow Warbler
I had a walk around Greno Wood, Wheata Wood, Wharncliffe Wood and Wharncliffe Chase this morning... it's a beautiful day and spring has definitely arrived, with migrants singing everywhere. There's plenty of Chiffchaffs and Blackcaps around, but typically it was Willow Warblers that have suddenly arrived in the largest numbers, with around thirty birds counted over the course of my travels.
To think it was only a few days ago that I couldn't even find one!
