Sunday breakfast

A beautiful day in Edinburgh this Sunday.

The glorious weather twinned with the comforting smell of coffee and croissant takes me back to one of my favourite places in the world, deep in the Charente countryside, where I've spent many a happy hour leisurely eating al fresco. (and the occasional evening under the stars enjoying a cognac schweppes or two - c'est beau la vie!)

Sadly back home, I don't have a garden - or a balcony for that matter - and I'm attempting to recreate something a little continental with an open window and a light breeze!
