to Wales!

back-blipped

...and so we were up at 4 when Chris came in for work and off to Wales! Amelie was most confused when I came into her room and plucked her from her cot and started putting a cardigan on her and doing her nappy and speaking to her in a cheery voice! She stayed awake until 5 in the car and slept for only an hour and was awake for the other 2 hours of our journey. Which completely defeated the purpose of us going that early but at least we had the whole of Thursday here too.

Having said that it was a bit of a non day with Chris not having had any sleep on Thursday night and Amelie and I only a few hours, we were all very tired. Chris went to bed after breakfast once we got here and Amelie and I pottered about until his parents came home from work around about lunchtime.

Amelie is still grumpy and wasn't as willing as usual to show everyone how clever she is (we normally don't even have to ask her to perfom!) and it was an early night for her.
