Out of Africa

I went with a friend to a local Ethiopian restaurant, named Karibu. Apparently, so sayeth the menu, Karibu is a Swahili word meaning "welcome." This was my first time trying Ethiopian food, and I was quite pleased. On the left is lamb meat with a tangy red sauce, and on the right is beef. The flatbread in the basket actually serves as your utensils. Yup, you eat with your hands. It was a nice experience.
