Dragon Fruit

Well, Peter continues to blog about "baking the alphabet" His blog

He has reached difficult D. I suggested Danish Pastries, but he wanted something a bit more challenging, thus the Dragon Fruit. Despite living in a city, these fruit's are hard to come by and it took him a good couple of hours mission to hunt one down....he managed in a Tesco Metro of all places.

Anyway, he made a kind of jam out of it and made wee jam tarts. They were nice and the fruit tastes quite like melon and kiwi fruit combined but i can't help thinking the innards look like frog spawn. Yum.
