A Mothers Love....
For her son or daughter is just so priceless. I've also heard it said that 'Having a daughter is Gods punishment for being a man'. Personally, I dont believe that a bit, but it does sound corny.
This shot was taken at Queenswood Country Park on the top of Dinmore Hill a few miles south of Leominster. It has been a family tradition for us all to gather at Emma's mums for the Mothers Day weekend. This year, it had not been easy for my own personal reasons, but we still managed to make the best of it.
Oliver was off playing football with a newly discovered friend. Emma was cuddling Megan, so I rattled off a few shots, looking for the best one. I especially like this one because both Emma and Megan look a bit vulnerable. Emma does such a good job of looking after Megan, just like her mum has done for her, and just like Emma's Nan has done as well. So while Mums are doing all the looking after their children, who looks after them. I fully believe every day should be a Mothers Day - although it is nice to celebrate this one day especially!
