Garden Arbor

These arbors line a walkway at Mohegan Park in Norwich, not too far from where I live. Because we are still coming out of winter, they are just bare vines right now, but still look pretty, especially with the view out to the pond. I can't wait to see how it will look when everything is in bloom!

Yesterday afternoon, Jack got quite a special treat. Like just about every other day, Jack and I sat outside on the steps watching the big construction trucks as they work to put in pipes underground across the street from us. Jack decided to wear his yellow 'Home Depot' construction hat just like the workers. One guy saw him and thought Jack looked cute watching with his hat and asked if he wanted to come over to sit in the BIG excavator! Jack was so excited, and got in the seat! He told Jack to hold on to the handles like they do to move the scoop up and down....of course I got a few pictures in, and as you will see here, Jack is pretty happy!
