Holi-Day-Four
Blair Drummond Safari Park
Yesterday was a fantastically sunny and occasionally even warm (!) day. We had already decided to take the kids to Blair Drummond, so we were lucky that we managed to get to it on what was definitely the best day of the week. We had a great day. The kids were delighted to see all the animals, particularly Ella who got to see a real life zebra and Callum who got to see the lions. The girls both really enjoyed the sea lion show - Ella's face was a hoot with the sea lions performing their tricks, can't wait to take her to the Sea World place in Florida (next year, hopefully?)
Callum got progressively grumpier as the day went on and then we realised that his neck was covered in little spots. Yup, the pox has arrived on the wee man. He's got a good covering of the little blighters too, much worse than Ella's last week.
We headed back to the caravan in order to start getting packed up for leaving this morning. Which was probably just as well because that was when the fun started. First Ella was really sick, then Philip started to feel a bit wobbly...yup, no holiday is complete without a stomach bug for the journey home!
