Etiquette

Busy day, was in the house for a total of about 40 minutes between getting up and going to bed. Unsurprisingly, didn't exactly get a lot done on the domestic front.

And the only music I listened to all day (apart from the songs in Tangled) was one track by the wonderful ISAN on the way to work.

Been feeling pretty disillusioned with blip and the attitudes of some members of the community this week. This is in reaction to a series of candid images of overweight people I've found very offensive and highly exploitative recently. And the comments that accompany these images I've found even more objectionable, not to mention crass, bewildering and baffling. 'Disrespectful and derogatory' pretty much covers it. It's made me think of what would happen in the real world if I found out friends had views I disagreed with. Obviously I don't know 100% about everyone I know, but I like to think that there is some sort of common bond there which means we're on the same wavelength. On Facebook there's the 'unfriend' option and Twitter has the 'unfollow' facility. There's nothing of that kind on blip and it's possibly a dangerous route to go down anyway, policing your audience. It's a question of etiquette, not entirely sure what that etiquette is. Any thoughts/comments welcome.
