Peel Forest

Katey, another blipper and myself went out to Peel Forest this afternoon on a fungi hunt. Beautiful day, warm and windless.....not much fungi, but just so lovely to be out in the great outdoors, enjoying each others company and listening to the birds. A most enjoyable outing.

Other than that, not too much else, went to a "Earthquake Sale" at a local store, some very good bargins and some purchasing was made....pick up tomorrow (yes large in size)

Thanks for the comments etc on the historic saleyards yesterday, it seems that history is popular....I will endeavour to do some more over coming weeks.

Dinner time, then settling into the evening watching the Crusaders v The Bulls, being held here in Timaru as they have lost their home ground because of munted ground conditions and stands, gutting for all concerned......we didn't get seat, they were gone in a flash!!
