From my roots...

Continuing with the vegetable theme (I promise it won't be an ongoing thing!) I bring you a photo of the leeks my Dad brought me today from our garden in Angus.

Like the small potato that proceeded, these organic delights are no bigger than the spring onions you'd find in your favourite supermarket. A soup a la nouvelle cuisine anyone? Very low on calories!

I just have one request: please don't mock the leek...
