The Lion sleeps tonight

Well, its been another great day today.

I even managed 10 minutes in the sunshine on the comfy chairs this morning, but couldn't really stay out for much longer without risking my skin withering and burning away, i would've reached for the factor 60 if it'd been available to me, factor 60 is actually a huge towel and sunshade...i'm delicate you know!

Had a really enjoyable unplanned afternoon as well, had popped into Barnsley market to get some bits and pieces with the family,

we arrived, all hot,grumpy and uninspired due to a long traffic jam on the way in, and then stumbled upon a brilliant continental street market full of exotica,delicate foodstuffs,aromatic fragrances which mingled with the rich lilt of western and eastern european accents,

(although the gentleman selling the 'fromages du France' looked a bit bamboozled when he wished us a cheery au revoir and my wife gave him a quick burst of fairly flawless French....me no think he really French person after all)

Still, just consumed the delights of the market and am now sitting here, slightly overfed, watching three souls all sat in the same room but totally occupying their own seperate space and time,

one is currently playing Alice Cooper through her laptop, one appears to be knitting herself a , well she says its a new husband but i don't think shes that good at knitting, and one is considering stopping what he is doing and heading off for the late night shopping...
