The farm at last
We eventually got to the farm in Lusangazi, early morning to find work in full swing. As soon as they saw the jeep everyone came running and screaming. A frenzy of hugs and cuddles ensued and even the very shy Randwell got in on the act.
There has been a very considerable improvement in all aspects of the operation and the place looks, smells and feels wonderful. Thanks to myself for all the mad rants and all the workers who really have stepped up to the plate. Thanks guys.
My first vision was Binna in the potting shed, and this thing hanging from the vinelike covering on the roof. He gave it a name, but what's it like says I? He broke it open to show the most amazing passion fruit I ever tasted.
Loaded with vitamin C it grows all year round.
This tangled web grew from just one seed and was loaded with fruit.
Mary couldn't wait for the picture!!
From right is Alinipher the farm manager, Mary, Binna the plant propagator and general genuis with plants, Charity, the farm boss and W4Z Director in Malawi.
On Monday we begin work on collecting more seeds, to sow.
This is a wonderful plant for Malawi
