these boots were made for walking

A blue sky day demands a walk, so walk we did. Around a nature reserve, lake sparkling in the middle, birds calling and buds budding - it was all rather perfect.

I took some fab shots - if I do say so myself :) of fungus and buds and grasses and a new plant that was introduced to me - Toothwart, which is an interesting little fellow.

But I am always drawn back to the images where my children (Sienna!) are captured - maybe my choices acknowledge that the wonder of nature will renew each year but these years when she is so young will not come again...
