Going thru the unsorted photos is hard

In a wild attempt to straighten out my life, i have been going thru a humongous virtual pile of unsorted photos weeding out the bad shots and sorting the keepers into folders. I have been specifically looking for holes that need to be filled in my blips. To this end I created a spreadsheet and mark it as I sort out each picture. I ended up randomizing the order of the photos in the sort folder so it isn't as tedious, but this is hard and I vow not to let a bazillion unsorted photos build up again. And yes, I know about autosorting in a variety of programs, but I like this better.
