Secret Garden
Well it's not quite.....but at one time I think this was once, many years ago, a private garden for the building around it when they were private houses. Now of course these fine old buildings are office blocks right in the heart of the city centre and this little park area is a very popular haunt in the summer months of office workers looking to catch some
I used to work just around the corner from this park but I'd kind of forgotten it was there. Today I was passing it on my way back from lunch with friends and the trees caught my attention - so never one to miss a shot of a tree I got my camera out and took a few shots - it would have been a pity not to, it's a beautiful little park and it's surrounded by such attractive buildings.
In the end I managed no job hunting today whatsoever but that's ok. I had a very enjoyable and long overdue lunch with two colleagues (and one wife) that I worked with in my previous job who I am very fond of (if you're reading Colin that's you!) and that was a very timely reminder that even without a job I am much happier than I would be working where we were before and that if I'm patient something will turn up. In the meantime there are far more important things in life like friends, fun, health, happiness, music, books, photography, coffee (if I ever get to drink it again!), guitars, trees, the list is endless.....
Anyway thanks all for your comments and words of encouragement yesterday and today I appreciate them.
