Down on the Farm

After spending a day in the house yesterday, I decided we were getting up and out today so as not to waste a day! It was a nice warm morning so off to Doonies Farm we headed, wearing tshirts and hoodies. As a precaution I popped summer jackets in the boot of the car.

On arrival, about 2 miles from my house, right on the coast, it was very windy. Like get out the car and instantly put jackets on over the hoodies kind of windy.

I had packed a lunch for us to have a picnic, but after 2 hours of feeding the animals, cooing over the lambs, calves, foals, goats and piggys then half an hour in the playpark, I was frozen to the bone and just wanted to get in the nice warm car!

So we came home and had a living room picnic :)
