Messing about in the river

Yr 4 Trip to Horton Kirby today to study the River Darent, which is a tributary of the Thames.

Despite a few of the classic city kids remarks about the countryside being 'unhygenic', they had the time of their lives splashing around & filling their wellies up with water!

Beautiful day for it (glad I slapped the sunscreen on in am), also saw a few ducks, some fishermen & a few too many dogs... Two of them even joined us in the river!
