Paws for thought
While it seems everyone had glorious weather today it didn't really reach us until about 4pm. Working from home today - I did my online shop for the first time ever! I know, very behind the times! Simon thinks I am mad as it is being delivered tomorrow night at 1030!
We are just back from walking the pups. We live right next to a cemetery (not as spooky as it sounds) and at the bottom is a huge field that is enclosed and all the local dog owners walk their dogs there. Tonight we saw Meg, Andy and Sandy (dogs not owners - strangely, I'm not sure of the owners names). Sandy had a muzzle on as she nearly died last week when she had eaten a stick that ripped her tummy.
Anyway, sadly, on Monday, they are taking down all the fences that make the field enclosed. This means it will be part of the cemetery where it is against the law to not have your dog on the lead so no more dog walks round the field. We put in petitions to the council but no joy. The really annoying thing is that they wont need it for 50-60 years!! How ludicrous. Us walking their probably puts off vandals as there is always presence in some form down there.
We will have to find another field for the dogs to run around twice daily.
Nearly the weekend Blippers!
