Drying Wind
There are three reasons for this rather mundane blip today:
1) I'm working from home today because of frequent power cuts in my office that can be very annoying when you haven't saved what you were working on ... even 15 minutes of work being lost is annoying, never mind an hour or more if I'm being particularly stupid or get totally engrossed!
2) With Wally I being away in Norway, I've been asked to make sure my blip is up-to-date so I thought this captured a bit of my day, and knowing I'm unlikely to see anything particularly worthy in the rest of the day as I look at my computer screen ... call it housework, or maybe procrastination?
3) When I do look up from my desk I see these clothes drying and it reminds me of a trip to Harris where the washing was horizontal in the strength of the wind ... a bit like the scarves and hair of the Hee Bee Gee Bees (Meaningless Songs) ... we haven't got that strong a wind here today but it is certainly a drying wind, which means I could do some ironing tonight
... but that really would be procrastination!
Right, back to work
but I just searched for the Hee Bee Gee Bees and had to laugh again - check it out:Meaningless Songs
and is that THE Angus Deayton in a prior life?!
Not such a bad blip after all - quite a lot you can say about a clothes line!
