Hosea

Been reading Hosea for my quiet time. It's been tough; such negativity coming from a God I know as loving. To admit, sometimes I even space out because there's so much repeats...

But chapter 3 spoke out.
Hosea's Reconciliation With His Wife

"So I bought her for fifteen shekels of silver and about a homer and a lethek of barley. Then I told her, 'You are to live with me many days; you must not be a prostitute of be intimate with any man, and I will live with you.'"
(Hosea 3: 2-3)

On a little post-it, I stuck it on my bible and it says:

"How many times have I become like her, running towards these 'men', forgetting you and even the price YOU paid for me?"

Your mercy is new everyday.

Unfathomable.
