George and the Dragon Festival at School

Fancy dress at school today.

My son did win his class fancy dress but had to take 2nd place when he openly admitted in assembly that he was not involved at all with making his costume saying his dad had made the helmet and his mum the clothes. He just fit them.

Nevertheless he was still well chuffed with 2nd place and the teachers loved his honesty.

My daughter's hat was massive and it wouldn't stay on at all. The kids had a normal day at school in fancy dress followed by an exhibition and a PTA cake and Coffee Do.

I took a day off work for this, lovely weather for it and lots of cake eaten.
