....Into the purple sky......

Good news number 1. My sis had her op this morning...it was "only" a lumpectomy....not bad when you consider that 4 months ago the whole breast was going to have to go. She's recovered well and according to the hospital "everything went well". So that's very promising. Just the radiotherapy to go now.
Thankyou to everyone of you that have been praying, sending good wishes and thinking about her.

Good news number 2. Manchester United beat Chelsea 0-1 in the first leg of the European Champions League Quarter final. Just the home leg to go now and we're as good as in the final.

Good news number 3. We got a 2.30 finish from work today! So I whipped to the tackle shop, got some bait and went and did two hours fishing in the warm sunshine. The sky was a funny colour as I was coming home to watch the match so that was my blip. O.K. so perhaps it wasn't quite this purple but, hey, every one's allowed a bit of poetic licence once in a while.

Good news number 4. I won the lottery again.....only £2.50, but, hey, a win's a win!

The Boss made a lovely Lamb Rogan Josh tonight so now I'm just relaxing with a beer, celebrating my sister's good news and United's win and preparing to "meet" all my lovely blip friends again.
