Millenium Bridge and Sage

A couple of firsts for me here. This is the first shot I have blipped with my new Sigma Zoom and it is also my first blipped HDR. I'll admit the HDR is a little over done here but I still quite liked it so it's staying!

The sigma lens arrived today with my new Nikon telephoto. I had a bit of think about what lenses I already had and what I ultimately wanted and decided to consolidate things a little. I've gone for quality not quantity. I've ended up selling four lenses and buying two in replacement. Right now I nearly have my ideal kit. A fast prime, a fast wideish zoom, a good telephoto with VR and a Macro. Only thing I'm missing is a really wide lens but I can live without one for a while. Oh and a flash. Oh and some filters. Expensive hobby this!

I had to go to the tip tonight and seeing as it's pretty close to the river I took the camera out and went snapping at sunset. I missed the best light but still got to have a good play with my new lenses. Bliss.
