"Might be feeling a bit ill today" roughly translates as:

Tired.
Can't get out of bed.
Don't want to go to school.
Just want to be at home.
Can't be bothered.
Want to be in the house without the brothers.
Would like to spend time in front of the mirror to do hairstyling at leisure.
Fancy wearing silver leggings and not badly sewn up school trousers.
Want to play with the cat in the sunshine.

It was worth having a day off blagged out of me just for this sight.
