An Early Morning Visitor.

A little disconcerted to be confronted by this rather large Funnel Web Spider in the bathroom first thing whilst still somewhat half-asleep. At just over an inch long, this female Amaurobius similis was soon transplanted to the window ledge, where this photo was taken.
