Alleyways

I haven't had time to blip at all! Took a 7 hour road trip down to Illinois with my friend Tiffany and my grandparents. Our destination is always my uncle's restaurant in downtown where there's a lot of small local shops. It's very urban there, something I'm not used to seeing often. I'm amazed by all the buildings and alleyways that have a beautiful quality to them.

I'm greeted with a familiar smells and sights and sounds, love from family, and this "hometown" mentality that I can't quite explain. It was nice to be back "home" with family. Lots of driving, not a lot of sleep, and great times together.
