Doña Sebastiana

This afternoon - there was a break from the conference and we went on a bus tour :-) conference reconvenes for a 3hr evening session at 6pm :-( The tour took in the Rio Grande Gorge Bridge, The Millicent Rogers Museum, Taos Pubelo and the San Fransico de Asis Church and presented many opportinities for a blip. I have chosen this one, a depiction of Doña Sebastiana in her Carreta de la Muerte, one of the exhibits at the Museum. This is a New Mexico religious tradition and the Doña signifies death ... its a very striking image.
