Magic's In The Makeup.
No Doubt.
I went to a Masquerade Ball this evening at an industrial/goth club in Columbus. It was my third time at this club but a different experience since everyone was wearing fancy dresses and masks... or makeup made to look like masks. A group of us ended up going... members of the group included some people who graduated from my college in the past few years, so I love any chance I get to hang out with them. Pictured is Vasare. Our friend/her roommate Elia did our makeup for the evening. It was a nice night. A bit slow and boring at first, but the crowd finally arrived, people started dancing, and the night went by quickly for me. :) One of the reasons I love this place is because when I dance, I just get to focus on myself and ignore everyone else. We're not crammed and sweaty on each other. There is plenty of space. I like it like that. Haha. And it's not very often you see people being whipped in the corner. Time to get some sleep....
