Taste bombs

One of the joys of being on holiday is long, leisurely lunches consisting of Italian meats, a selection of British and continental cheeses, thick crusty bread and a cafetiere of fresh strong coffee (or if you're not driving later, a glass or two of chilled pinot grigio :o)

Having enjoyed one such lunch today, I have chosen a pic of the seductive little cherry tomatoes as they sat there all alluring in their glossy scarlet skins, just begging to be popped whole into my mouth, before I bite down, releasing their delicious flavour in a mini tomato explosion!
