Something Different

Off to Haddington today taken the back roads. Although it's only 30 miles away it seems to be in a different climate zone; daffodils in full flower, blooming forsythia and blossom on the trees. Haddington is also blessed with a great bookshop, a gorgeous beadshop and a wonderful shop (Fabrications) selling fabric, trims, luscious yarns etc., and I did my bit for the Scottish economy!
Haddington High Street is also unusual as many of the houses are painted, something you see a lot in Ireland but not quite so much in Calvinistic Scotland. So definitely Something Different!
